Beauty Junky Purifying Mask

While being away on holiday I stumbled upon Beauty Junky's peel-off gel mask for problem skin. I always seem to have quite a few blemishes so will try anything I can to fix this, therefore had to get this face mask. Although I felt £1.80 for this mask was a little steep, I still feel this, I bought it anyway!

When trying this mask it really is just a clear, slightly green, gel. I like the gel feel to it and after those 15 minutes it dries tight and hard. On the back of the mask it says you canwask it off or peel it off, well I peeled it off and wow did it hurt!! The mask got stuck to all hairs on my face, ones I didn't know I had!!!

I decided I would get several uses out of this mask, I have used it twice and will be able to use it a couple more times but I can't say I've seen any difference at all. I will not buy this mask again but will finish the packet. I can also say I have no idea where else you can buy these 15 minute masks from I'm afraid.

I would also like to add that I tried a face mask from Primark recently, and to my surprise it was just 99p from the brand Montagne Jeunesse. I have seen these in boots and never thought about trying one but whilst in the Primark queue saw it was so cheap and for problem skin! It has the same amount of product in the packet as Beauty Junky's. BUT with the Montagne Jeunesse mask I saw a good result in regards to my skin!

I Belong By The Sea

So I'm actually blogging from the iPhone blogger app today as this weekend I have been in one of my favourite places, Wales! I own a cabin here with my family and have been coming since I was born. I absolutely love it here and even though the weather isn't always great it's a beautiful place to be! Being by the sea is my favourite thing, although unfortunately I can't get in the sea just yet, so bring on summer!!!!!

Whilst being here I tend to leave my phone on my bed when I go to the beach and so here are some of my all time favourite photos I've taken in the past.

Essie Nail Polish Mint Candy Apple

Recently I have been obsessed with the colours mint and duck egg! I have seen these colours around a lot at the moment and they have become very popular, that is why I thought it would be essential to write this blog post.

The Essie nail polishes are not ones I would usually go for as they are on the pricy side but I  am so glad I bought this one, Mint Candy Apply is £7.99 from Boots but I love it! It's a beautiful bright duck egg colour with a hint of mint therefore is perfect for this Spring.

When applying this nail polish I was so happy to see it has amazing pigmentation with a wider application brush than most, therefore sweeping it onto your nails is a dream! I am also so glad to see that nearly a week later there is hardly any signs of wear.

Overall, Mint Candy Apple by Essie is a fantastic nail polish.

Every Girl Loves Lipstick

Recently I received a lipstick from one of my lovely friends, I had seen her wearing a beautiful colour and had to know where it was from (only so I could steal the secret to her luscious lips!) The next day I was lucky enough to receive a lipstick from that same line from my lovely friend. This line is 17 stay pout lip colours, which is "new" according to the bright blue sticker.

I will now attempt to describe the lipsticks to you, but be warned I can't explain anything well and so there will be pictures!

When I opened the lipstick I was so excited as it is this gorgeous plumy pink colour. This lip colour is in "IT'S A KISS OFF" and what I really love is the metallic finish it has. When using this lip colour it is pigmented and creamy they are but with an amazing staying power, probably why this line is called "STAY POUT".

After being so pleased with "IT'S A KISS OFF", I wanted to purchase the one my friend was originally wearing because that too was so beautiful. So on one of my many trips to boots I went straight for the 17 stand and was so pleasantly surprised to see they are only £4.49! I therefore had to grab the last lipstick in "MAKE AN ENTRANCE" and felt very smug.

"MAKE AN ENTRANCE" is quite a bright red pink colour that is just beautiful, it has a lovely glossy feeling with the same amazing pigmentation, staying power and creaminess of my other lipstick. Also with these, I feel, they change under different lighting as you can see as I have taken some pictures with flash and some without.

Overall, I love these lipsticks and recommend them to you all and I wouldn't think twice about buying more.
