Part 1/3 - Base Makeup

I have decided to do this 3 piece series of showing base makeup and different eye looks, perhaps for different events and special occasions. To start off with is the base, this whole base has only SPF 18 therefore will be fantastic for in photos! I added a highlighter just to the top of the cheekbones for added glow.

I personally have to have a flawless base and this is how I achieve it:

Grimas - Transparent Powder (Only transparent powder I have from makeup artist college course)
Real Techniques - Powder Brush
Real Techniques - Expert Face Brush

When doing the base I like for my cheekbones to be prominent! But that is just personal preference and looks good in photos too. In order to make my cheekbones stand out I use bronzer to bronze up the face and contour, blush and a small amount of highlighter.

Barbara Hofmann - Brush was gift
MAC - 109 Brush
MUA - Shade 2 Pearl Eyeshadow (Used as highlighter)
Benefit - Hoola Bronzer
Smashbox - Pop of Pink Blush (Limited Edition)
Real Techniques - Blush Brush

I was never into doing my eyebrows but now I find them to be vital! However I do not fill them in very much as I have quite dark eyebrows, I just like to shape them. (In these pictures my eyebrows were in desperate of a bit of plucking so please excuse them!)
Marks and Spencer - Busy But Beautiful Eyebrow Kit
MAC - 217 Brush
No7. - Eyebrow Brush (Part of a set)
MAC - 266 Brush (Mine was part of a set)

Finally, I didn't go for my usual massive big eyelashes as in the two eye looks I will be using false lashes, but if you would like to use your natural lashes here is My Mascara Routine.
Primark - Eyelash Curler

Part 2 of this series coming Thursday!
If you were stuck for ideas with Lips I have many "Lips of the day" post.
